Twins Tidbits
Joe Christensen of the Star Tribune updates us on a couple pieces of Twins news;
The Twins have signed Jason Repko, formerly of the Dodgers to play center field for AAA Rochester. Given the lack of depth the team has at that position, he'll serve as emergency depth should something happen to regular starter Denard Span. For a whole host of reasons the Twins hope that's an insurance policy they never have to make a claim on.
Clay Condrey who's trip to the DL was discussed on this site, will be out for at least two more weeks with what GM Bill Smith said is a flexor strain, or at least that was the result of his MRI. One would assume Condrey would then undergo a brief rehab stint before being able to rejoin the club.
